Minister Heather Humphrys visits Clare to discuss opportunities for rural communities

Minister Heather Humphreys, who has responsibility for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, has addressed the recently formed Clare Rural Development Forum on the opportunities available through the Government’s Action Plan for Rural Development. During her visit, Minister Humphreys met with Clare County Council CEO, Pat Dowling and key staff members of the local authority. PGA professional champion David Higgins retains title at Dromoland

Reigning PGA professional champion, David Higgins, has retained his Irish Club Professional crown at stunning Dromoland Castle. The Waterville man produced a composed display in testing conditions to win the event by three shots.
