Joe Buckley’s photo of his Aidan Park neighbours enjoying a summer party was one of the winners of this year’s Street Feast photo competition.
Organisers of the competition collected photos and videos from this year’s celebrations from which they selected their winning entries.
Street Feast is a national initiative started out by a team of volunteers who are passionate about community. The first Street Feast in 2010 was conceived after many conversations trying to find ways to reduce isolation and boost community resilience.
Street Feast is still run voluntarily and is always open to fresh ideas and new energy. The national organisers have expressed a massive thank you to all who got involved this year in making the event such an amazing success.
The good people of Aidan Park have enjoyed their own Street feast for the last two years and no doubt will be delighted for Joe Buckley’s win.
