Nine Skillnets training networks have arranged a free information session for small and medium businesses entitled ‘Up-Skilling the Mid-West’ in Limerick on Monday 6th March.
SMEs in Clare are urged to attend to find out what subsidised training options are available for their staff and how they can save time and money by engaging with one of their local Skillnets networks. Skillnets training networks work with businesses to design and deliver training that is cost efficient due to the funding available, relevant to their needs, provided at a time and a location that suits them, and of a high quality.
Over 770 companies in the Mid-West are currently benefitting from training through their local Skillnets network. The event will be opened by Minister of State for Employment and Small Business Pat Breen. Skillnets chief executive Paul Healy will address the event as will Conor Flanagan, CEO Atlantic Aviation Group and Michael Sheehy of Alert Liability Management, who will explain how membership of a Skillnets network has helped their businesses.
There is also the opportunity to participate in taster training sessions delivered by industry professionals. Management consultant Peter Nolan of Franklin Covey will speak on the world’s premier personal leadership development solution ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People’.
Malin Kelly of Modig Corporate Services will talk about Management Wellbeing while Dr Ardawan Lalui, Lalui Leadership, will speak about SMEs going through a transformation process. Bookings for the event can be made by contacting Sue Davies on 061 363 418 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. For further information go to www.skillnets.ie.
