A successful funding event was held recently by ulearning Skillnet and Supply Network Shannon at the new Atlantic Aviation Institute training facility on the Shannon Free Zone.

Representatives of local businesses were given information about the various grant options available from a number of State agencies including Enterprise Ireland and the Local Enterprise Office Clare.

Those attending a very well attended event entitled Grant Funding Options for Business were addressed by representatives of LEO Clare, Limerick Institute of Technology, Grant Thornton and ulearning Skillnet.

Keynote speaker Maurice McLernon, from Fairlie McKenzie International, gave an interesting presentation on how to develop sales in the UK market.

ulearning Skillnet and Supply Network Shannon are taking applications for a one year skills programme leading to a Certificate in Management.

The programme is aimed at professionals seeking to deepen their management skills or gain a formal qualification. Applications must be in by 31st May 2017 and the course commences in September 2017.
